The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

The MXR Ten Band EQ has been upgraded with noise-reduction circuitry, true bypass switching, a lightweight aluminum housing, brighter LEDs for increased visibility, and a second output so you can run two separate signal chains. With ten carefully chosen frequencies and both input and output level controls, the Ten Band EQ will let you tune your bass or guitar rig to any room in seconds—create earthshaking low-end; restore punch, level, and treble response to a crowded pedalboard; warm up an amplified acoustic; and much, much more. For ultimate tone-sculpting ability in a bullet-proof enclosure, put the Ten Band EQ on your pedalboard.

Recreating vintage reel-to-reel and cassette tape dynamics, the unit combines analog tape saturation and doubletracking processing within an advanced DSP platform. The Tape Saturation section introduces musical compression, harmonic warmth, and tape overdrive, featuring a dedicated tone control alongside selectable Classic reel-to-reel and Cassette auto-level-control voicings. The Doubletracker section models twin synchronized tape decks to deliver studio tape flanging, lush chorus, slapback delays, and tape echo. Independent bypass footswitches allow individual or combined activation, including an automatic through-zero flange function when holding the doubletracker switch. Comprehensive MIDI integration facilitates complete preset recall, parameter automation, and MIDI clock delay synchronization via TRS or USB-C connections. Discrete Class-A JFET input circuitry provides optimal touch response with selectable mono or stereo routing and switchable bypass modes.

This classic analog distortion pedal bridges the gap between overdrive, hard-clipping saturation, and fuzz. Featuring a unique reverse-action low-pass filter control alongside variable distortion and volume knobs, it allows precise adjustment of cutting high-frequencies. The circuit relies on a high-gain operational amplifier driving a pairs of symmetrical silicon clipping diodes to achieve its signature grit and aggressive harmonic content. Built into a highly durable steel enclosure with glow-in-the-dark graphics, it incorporates a single status LED for clear optical engagement confirmation. Its versatile sweep accommodates applications ranging from a transparent rhythm boost to rich, heavily saturated lead tones.

ome might say we’re driven. When our engineers lock themselves in our sound design labs for months on end, you might say we’re obsessed. We have been dedicating ourselves to forging a collection of the most organic, luscious, expressive, and versatile modulation effects ever heard.

It was an enormous mission—we painstakingly studied the nuances of the legendary modulations of celebrated tremolo effects, phaser pedals, chorus units, and more from the last five decades. We didn’t stop at faithfully capturing these warm and lush vintage sounds—we expanded their vocabulary with extended versatility and sonic possibilities never before heard.

The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and more importantly the proper phasing of your guitar signal.
