So viele Distortion-Pedale auf dem Markt, so viele klingen gleich... Mit einer neuen Clipping-Topologie in Verbindung mit Feedback imitiert das SARCASM Distortion-Pedal einen aufgedrehten Verstärker aus den 70er Jahren, ohne die starke Kompression, die man normalerweise mit einem Pedal bekommt.

Es wurde viel Mühe in dieses Design gesteckt, um die typische Härte zu eliminieren, die Solid-State-Komponenten produzieren. Alle AQUA-AUDIO Produkte sind handgefertigt.

So many distortion pedals on the market, so many sound the same… Using a new clipping topology together with feedback, the SARCASM Distortion pedal mimics a cranked amp you could typically here back in the 70’s, without the heavy compression you typically get when using a pedal.

A lot of effort was put into this design to eliminate the typical harshness that solid state components produce. All AQUA-AUDIO products are hand made.

Sarcasm Distortion Pedal

Das VISAGE ist ein Fuzz-Pedal mit Silikontransistoren. Es wurde ausgiebig mit Silikontransistoren geforscht, um die richtigen zu finden, mit ähnlichen Eigenschaften wie Germanium, um den klassischen Germanium-Ton so gut wie möglich zu imitieren.

Eines der großen Probleme bei Germanium-Fuzz-Pedalen ist, dass jedes Pedal anders klingt als das andere - wegen der großen Unterschiede bei den Germanium-Transistoren.

Die Verwendung von Silikontransistoren stellt sicher, dass jedes Pedal genau so klingt wie das andere - denn Silikontransistoren sind viel haltbarer, stabiler bei Temperaturschwankungen und haben eine viel bessere Konsistenz in der Produktion.

Da klassische Germanium Fuzz-Pedale mit entgegengesetzter Polarität arbeiten, kann man sie nicht mit anderen Pedalen in eine Daisy-Chain einbinden - man ist gezwungen, eine Batterie oder eine andere Stromversorgung zu verwenden.

Da das Visage Fuzz keinen Eingangspuffer hat (genau wie die bestklingenden klassischen Fuzz-Pedale), wurde besonders darauf geachtet, die richtige Eingangscharakteristik zu finden, damit es sowohl mit Single-Coil- als auch mit Humbucker-Tonabnehmern fantastisch klingt. Alle AQUA-AUDIO Produkte sind handgefertigt.

The VISAGE is a silicone transistors based Fuzz pedal. Extensive research was made with silicone transistors to find the right ones, with similar characteristics to Germanium, In order to mimic the classic Germanium tone as close as possible.

One of the big problems with Germanium Fuzz pedals, is that each one sounds different than the other – due to the big differences in Germanium transistors.

The use of silicone transistors assures that each pedal will sound exactly the same as the other one – since silicone transistors are much more durable, more stable at temperature changes and have much better consistency in production.

Also, since classic Germanium Fuzz pedals work with opposite polarity, you cannot put them in your daisy chain together with your other pedals – forcing you to use a battery or a different power supply.

Since there is no input buffer in the Visage Fuzz (just like the best sounding classic Fuzz pedals) special care was taken to find the right input characteristics to make it sound amazing – both with single-coil and humbucker pickups.
