The DepthFinder is an active boost-only EQ pedal that simulates the tube amp Resonance and Presence controls, but without having to be done in the power amp. This means you can use it with an amp that doesn’t have Resonance and Presence, by patching it in the effects loop. It also works great for building a pedalboard direct signal, since that low damping factor is a key ingredient to the overall tone. It can easily make a solid state amp sound and feel more like a tube amp, and can actually widen the bandwidth since it boosts at very low and very high frequencies.

The Bass BluesFuzz Jr fuzz uses a low gain germanium transistor, and has mid EQ, and a Dry Low blend. The Bass BluesFuzz JR shares most of the tone-tweaking features available on their larger counterparts, while some features many players don't need in order to shrink down the size and weight. The popular automatically adjusting bias on the Fuzz controls bias keeps the sweet spot at hand, and is especially nice for cleaner tones. And the Bass BluesFuzz JR has a Dry Low control on the side, to help dial in the bottom even when setting the fuzz for tighter tones. All Amptweaker fuzz pedals have a built-in 'guitar-style impedance, which allows you to put any other pedals in front without the traditional issues associated with vintage fuzz pedals. That means it works fine with low impedance active basses and pickups too.

Das Bass TightDrive Overdrive Pedal entstand, nachdem Greg Weeks von The Red Chord die "Gitarren" Version auf der NAMM Show ausprobiert hatte. Diese hatte ihm so gut gefallen, dass schon nach ein paar kleinen Optimierungen die finale Bassversion fertig war. Sie ist perfekt, um den Klang deines Bassamps zu optimieren, vom Straffen des Attacks bis hin zum Aufbau einer dichten Wand aus Overdrive für pick-lastige Metal-Basslinien. Andere berühmte Liebhaber dieses Pedals beinhalten dUg Pinnick von King's X und Sean Frankhouser den Bassisten von Bugs Henderson.

Mit immer kleiner werdenden Pedalboards wird die Nachfrage nach Pedals mit kleinerem Fußabdruck immer - das Resultat ist der Amptweaker TightDrive Jr . Dieses Pedal verfügt über die meisten Funktionen, die auf den größeren TightDrives zu finden sind und verwendet die gleiche Schaltung, während einige Features weggelassen wurden, die viele Gitarristen nicht benötigen, um Größe und Gewicht zu reduzieren. Abgeleitet von der Pro-Serie wurden der Tight-Regler- und Fat-Schalter in einen 3-Wege-Fat / Normal / Tight-Schalter umkonfiguriert, um das Attack von dick und heavy zu aggressiv und chunky zu verändern. The TightDrive Jr ranges from clean boost to moderately high gain, includes a noise gate and a Tight attack switch. With ever-shrinking pedalboard real estate, a common request to Amptweaker has been for smaller footprint versions of our popular distortion pedals...introducing the Amptweaker TightDrive Jr. This pedal shares most of the tone-tweaking features available on the larger TightDrives, and uses the same circuitry, some features, most players don't need in order to shrink down the size and weight. Derived from our Pro series, the Tight control and Fat switches were re-configured into a 3-position Fat/Normal/Tight switch to dial in the attack of the notes from thick and heavy to aggressive and chunky. An EQ switch similarly provides Plexi/Normal/Smooth tone settings, which helps the pedals cover much of the range of both its bigger Pro-Series brothers. In addition to Gain, Tone and Volume knobs, there's also a manually-adjustable Noise Gate which can be cranked to stop notes hard and fast. And the great thing about a built-in noise gate is that it goes away when you turn the pedal off...so your clean tone is unaffected!

Due to many user requests, the Bass TightDrive is also available with an extra knob on the face that adds dry lowend back to the tone, called the the Dry Low MOD, making it easy to simulate professional dual amp rigs as used by artists like dUg Pinnick. When combined with the Gain, Tone, and Volume controls, a lot of different distortion sounds are possible. The tonal variations range from thick bass tones, from barely clean and fat walking blues, to crunchy rhythm sounds, all the way up to seriously overdriving your tube amp for really heavy bass. It's also possible to use it to clean up a tube amp that might otherwise sound too floppy when you play it really hard.
