The Electronic Audio Experiments Greathammer is an all-analog, solid-state drive and preamp designed primarily for bass guitar but highly effective for guitar applications. It is a modern evolution of the "tri-comp" transistor clipping circuit found in the 1970s Traynor TS50B amplifier, famous for its sharp, piano-like attack and aggressive grind. Unlike the original amplifier, this circuit features a redesigned post-clipping active shelving filter for the Bass control, allowing for deep low-end extension without affecting the distortion character. An Attack control manages pre-gain frequencies to tailor the sharpness of pick strikes and clarity. The pedal also includes a three-position toggle for mid-range sculpting, offering a choice between flat mids, a moderate cut, or a deep notch. Originally released as a limited collaboration with Obstructures as the 0xEAE Bass Driver, the Greathammer standardizes the design into a compact enclosure with external controls and silent electronic switching.

There are few compressors that are more sought after than our yellow box Diamond. This next-gen compressor maintains the classic circuit architecture while increasing range and functionality. The new EQ section allows you to sculpt your tone in the same box that squashes it (that’s a good thing). Furthermore, the attack switch allows you to go from the signature ultra-snappy Diamond comp style all the way to softer transparent compression.

This dual-voice bass octave pedal delivers organic, fully analog sub-octave generation designed specifically to retain low-frequency clarity. It incorporates proprietary Constant Headroom Technology to internally elevate a standard incoming power source to eighteen volts, significantly improving tracking accuracy and preventing unwanted signal clipping. The layout houses independent volume controls for two distinct sub-octave voices, allowing musicians to blend a throaty midrange tone with a deep, smooth low-end sub-voice. A switchable parallel midrange boost can be engaged to inject punch back into the clean signal path, customizable via internal frequency and gain adjustments. Encased in a lightweight aluminum housing with true hardwire bypass, it preserves the instrument's natural tone when disengaged.

Was ist daran so besonders?

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.

Why is this important?

The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.

The ULTRA BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and the ULTRA BUFFER, according to your tastes and environment.

It is based on the legendary two-stage Phase 45 and four-stage Phase 90 circuits, incorporating both block-logo and script-logo voicings. The unit features a dedicated speed control knob alongside two toggle switches: a 45/90 switch to select between the two phaser topologies and a script switch that removes feedback from the circuit for a warmer, subtler vintage response. Equipped with true bypass switching, the pedal is housed in a durable metal chassis designed to save space on crowded pedalboards. It requires an external direct current power adapter and cannot be operated using internal batteries.

And with the ability to blend in compression and clean signal, you'll be able to dial in the perfect sound that keeps everything in place. The Whitey Tighty is a FET compressor that has three simple controls: Volume, Compression, and Blend. The Compression knob controls the amount of compression for everything from a subtle smoothing of your tone to a pleasing squash that’s perfect for country, blues, pop, and rock. Use the Blend knob to dial in the right amount of clean tone along with your compressed signal. This allows you to retain some of the natural feel of your clean tone while giving you the studio-quality compression that brings your sound to the next level.

Inspired by the classic Tri-Stereo Chorus and stompbox choruses of the 1970s and early 1980s, the TriceraChorus pedal pairs rich Bucket Brigade-style chorusing with Eventide’s legendary MicroPitch detuning for a lushness that rivals the jungles of the late Cretaceous Period. TriceraChorus features three chorus voices and three unique chorus effects which can be used to create a wide stereo spread with pulsing waves of modulation. The innovative “Swirl” footswitch adds psychedelic flanging, phasing, and Univibe-style tones.

We have had many requests for a more straight sounding delay pedal that is clearer and more true to the incoming guitar signal. By using new hardware, we not only created a very studio-like sounding delay, but we were able to increase the delay time to a maximum of 3 seconds. It sounds more modern and it doesn´t distort or warble – it merely sends out what you put in, only a little later and in a very pleasing way.
Just like all our other delays, the dry signal is kept analog, so there is no latency or coloring from the converters to the dry signal.
