THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON started with a bet between Ad Infinitum singer Melissa Bonny and Hans Platz, the guitarist of Feuerschwanz. Whoever lost owed the other a “dare”. Hans won and challenged Melissa to record a metal version of their first ever single “Jenny Of Oldstones”, and the rest is history! Exploring the fantastical lives of famous pop culture heroes since their childhood, the multitalented musicians transform soundtracks of worldwide known movies, TV shows and video games into powerful metal tracks on the debut album Metamorphosis.

German guitarist Hans Platz began playing in bands at the age of 16, considering the stage his second home ever since. With extensive studio and live experience, he currently plays with the band Feuerschwanz. With them, he has celebrated two number one entries in the official German album charts and regularly performs at sold-out venues and major festivals across Europe. Feuerschwanz's music videos on YouTube have garnered over 130 million views globally.

For his solo album Timestamps, Hans assembled world-class musicians such as Marco Minnemann (Aristocrats), Fabio Trentini, Wolfgang Haffner (Passport, Metro), legendary bass player TM Stevens (James Brown, Joe Cocker, Steve Vai, Billy Joel), and Pete Griffin (Zappa Plays Zappa). The result is a virtuoso instrumental album that stands up to international comparison and has been praised by the music press.

In 2021, a new band was born: together with Ad Infinitum singer and multi-talented Melissa Bonny, harpist Jenny Diehl, and Amaranthe drummer Morten Løwe Sørensen, THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON was formed. After hearing their first song, Napalm Records immediately signed the band, the debut album went on to achieve international chart success (DE, CH, US). Their album, Metamorphosis, features distinguished guests such as Rusanda Panfili (solo violinist for Hans Zimmer), Fabienne Erni (Eluveitie), Charlotte Wessels, and Tom Englund (Evergrey).

I’m a musician, guitarist, and content creator focused on sound exploration, creative use of effects, and signal design for electric guitar. Through platforms like Instagram and TikTok, I share demos, reviews, loops, and educational content centered around pedals, multi-effects, MIDI controllers, and modern tools for musicians.

My goal is to inspire other guitarists to experiment, create, and discover new ways of sonic expression. I collaborate with innovative brands that share this vision and produce authentic, high-impact content that connects their work with a passionate community of tone seekers and creative players.

Covi Quintana is a Dominican singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer known for her poetic lyrics, smooth voice, and fusion of pop, folk, and alternative Latin sounds.

Covi has become one of the most respected voices in the Dominican contemporary music scene. She’s been nominated for Premios Soberano (the Dominican Republic’s major music and arts awards) and is recognized for her introspective songwriting and emotional delivery.

Helppi Smith Pinales Soriano, better known as Helppi Smith, is a Dominican artist, musician, and music producer born on October 5, 1999.

​From an early age, Helppi was raised in the Christian faith, where he also discovered his love for music. He quickly began learning several instruments, becoming a true multi-instrumentalist. By the age of 15, he decided to focus on the electric bass as his main instrument—using the rest as creative tools that would later shape him into a skilled music producer.

Helppi’s creativity and passion have also taken him into the film industry, where he’s worked as a gaffer with Black Letter Films, earning international recognition at festivals such as the Madrid International Film Festival and the Nice International Film Festival.
In February 2021, he released his debut album, Ghastly, which was also featured in a short film of the same name.

Over the years, Helppi has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the biggest names in Christian music, including Danny Berrios, Aline Barros, Denicher Pol, Gadiel Espinosa, Rubinsky, and Aura Estrella, among others. He’s also been part of projects in the alternative and popular music scene, working with Grammy winner Chichi Peralta & Son Familia, Pavel Núñez, Covi Quintana, Ire Pelusa, Shadow Blow, Snenie, Letón Pé, SEYE, Diego Jaar, Mark B, Gabriel Pagán, and most recently Alex Ubago, to name a few.
Helppi’s journey reflects not only his versatility and dedication to his craft but also his deep passion for creating meaningful art that connects across cultures and genres.

I have played in multiple bands as a permanent member and session musician since I was 16. I played, recorded, and toured with the Australian band Mammal for 5 years.

I work as a live and studio guitarist for Umut Timur, who is one of the industry leading mainstream artists from Turkey.

Emanuel Knorr is a professional musician, producer, and academic based in Bremen, Germany. His career took off at the age of 18 when he joined the nationally renowned metal band Majesty in 2015. With Majesty, Emanuel played hundreds of shows across Europe, including major festivals like Summer Breeze Open Air and Masters of Rock. He contributed to three studio albums with the band, all of which landed in the Top 40 of the official German album charts. In 2023, he parted ways with Majesty to focus on his own creative vision.

His current project Skytribe is a cinematic, female-fronted metal band centered around intricate guitar work and powerful storytelling. In winter 2024, their debut single Kingdom of the Sky was released—quickly gaining over 100,000 views and marking an impressive milestone for an emerging act.

As a session guitarist, Emanuel has played hundreds of shows across Europe and internationally. He has become particularly active in the Turkish pop scene, working with artists like Umut Timo and Apio—two of the country’s biggest pop stars with viral hits reaching hundreds of millions of streams.

Based out of his commercial studio in Bremen, Emanuel is deeply connected to the gear community. With endorsements from brands such as Ibanez Guitars, BluGuitar amps, and Klopmann Electrics pickups, he’s committed to using high-end gear that inspires both sonically and creatively. He also actively collaborates with his partners, producing high-quality content and social media assets for their platforms.

Growing up, my commitment to my craft drove me to pursue a high school diploma from a specialized music-focused institution. This transformative experience not only sharpened my skills but also deepened my grasp of music's intricate language, forming the bedrock for my future as a musician.

My voyage towards mastery took a pivotal turn when I enrolled in the renowned music program at Popakademie Baden Württemberg. There, I soaked in every note of knowledge, refining my technique and immersing myself in the subtleties of musical composition. Guided by luminaries I emerged as an artist who adeptly blends innovation with tradition.

With a remarkable journey that spans over 250 live shows and many tours across Europe's length and breadth, I've earned my stripes as a seasoned performer. From intimate venues to colossal festivals, I've had the honor of captivating audiences alongside many of Germany's finest musicians.

I am proud to have established meaningful partnerships with renowned brands in the industry such as @mayonesguitars , @daddarioandco , and @bareknucklepickupsofficial . Furthermore, I've had the privilege of occasionally collaborating with trailblazing companies like @neuraldsp and @getgooddrums. Cici Powell is the frontwoman/bassist of prog metal band Von Strangelove. 
She also creates solo bass pieces, demoes gear and creates educational content on her YouTube channel Cici Bass, presents on Andertons TV, and plays bass/vocals in The Dave Simpson Trio.

Her solo music ranges from dark, heavy pieces like ‘Strangelove’, to orchestral multilayered soundtracks like ‘All Quiet’. From psychedelic to meditative like ‘Cosmic Cruise’, and to ambient and melodic, like her first delve into ambient bass around age 15, ‘Moth’. And of course, flat out screaming rock - Using only a bass and her ‘Mothership’ pedalboard. 
She likes to test the limits of what bass can do, and she’s yet to find those limits!

A 4’11 powerhouse - although versatile, she’s earned herself the nickname ‘The Hammer’, thanks to her hard hitting and percussive fingerstyle playing, and energetic live performances. Cici loves using bass as both a supporting and lead instrument.

Hailing from the UK, Cici began playing bass just before her 12th birthday in 2011. Despite being the only musician in her family, she hasn’t looked back since and is eager to inspire others to pick up the bass and explore what it can do!

Hi, my name is Rory McLean and I play bass in the band VOWER. 

I started playing music when I was 12, anything that made a musical note I was fascinated by and I would dedicate any free time I had to playing and writing music (I still do!). I then went on to study Bass at the ACM in Guildford UK and honed my craft here as a bass player. 

I am currently playing a GPS Corvette STD 5 and a Thumb NT 5. The Warwick sound is crucial to the sound of VOWER and there is no other bass that provides that snarl and growl.

With my Rockboard I needed something versatile and compact while also being future-proof and customisable. Having the MOD patchbays built-in is a game changer for me. Setting up on stage is so quick and efficient as it all powers off of one cable and any cabling happens from that one patchbay at the back.

Humans As Ornaments have always felt at home in a space of musical experimentation. Their songs contain a variety of influences - always delivered with a raw emotional intensity. Drawing from various genres between Post-Punk, Art-Rock, R&B and HipHop, the childhood friends Dave and Dennis continuously try to find connections within opposites. As a result, their sound is distinctly individual and uncompromising - somewhere between making you lose your shit and getting a melody stuck in your head.

Dave Rossel is a Berlin-based guitarist, producer and songwriter. Crafting a unique sound with his pedal-centric approach to guitar playing, he has toured across Europe with Zouj, Blush Always, Antilopen Gang and his own project Humans as Ornaments. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Yves Tumor, Steve Lacy and King Krule, he continues to explore the boundaries of avantgarde and experimental music. 

In 2019, Zacharie finally formed his Blues trio. The Zacharie Defaut Trio was born from a desire to return to the roots of Blues and Vintage Rock, the very essence of the electric guitar. With Flavien You on bass, and his winning partner Kevin Lika on drums. It was after a trip to Los Angeles that Zacharie was endorsed by Morgan Amplification, then by Coppersound Pedals with whom he would form close ties. In 2019, he worked in collaboration with Coppersound on a unique Fuzz pedal that would reflect the sound he wanted. It was a success, the Captain Hook was released in December to the delight of guitarists. Subsequently, Zacharie signed with Savarez Strings for 2 years, then joined D'Addario Strings. With his trio, Zacharie released his first album Little Boy as a singer-guitarist in 2020. It was a great success and the ZD3 journey was launched. In the tradition of Hendrix, Gary-Clark Jr, or SRV, Zacharie immediately proved himself on the guitar, and made a name for himself among the promising young French guitarists of his era. Zacharie played a series of concerts and received support from his department by joining the summer scenes program, allowing him to be subsidized during his 2021 tour. 2022 marked a turning point for Zacharie because he met Edward Rogers, an outstanding keyboardist, who joined the band, thus giving birth to the Zacharie Defaut Band. The new richness of the writing and arrangements therefore steered the project in a more soul and pop-rock vein. After the release of several singles, 2023 will be marked by the release of Waiting For A Sign, a three-part album bringing together no less than 17 tracks with broad and rich influences. Once again Zacharie shows us his penchant for music with 70s colors, pop vocals, but blues riffs. It is a completely self-produced album, recorded and mixed by Zacharie and which will earn him numerous radio broadcasts on blues stations, in France, Belgium and then Canada. After a notable appearance at the Festival des Rendez-vous de l'Erdre in Nantes, Zacharie and his musicians won a Jury Prize awarded by the members of France Blues in September 2023. Approved by some bigwigs and players of French Blues, Zacharie therefore joined this France Blues network. The Zacharie Defaut Band quickly made a place for itself in the world of Blues-Rock and guitar. 2023 is marked in particular by great opening acts such as Keziah Jones, Trust, and Joe Louis Walker. Barely a few months after the release of his second album, Zacharie feels the urge to compose and create again. He sets himself the challenge of writing a third and new album as a Trio (ZD3), a sort of ultimate return to the source. Milady is therefore born from a desire to pay tribute to this instrument that Zacharie loves so much, the electric guitar, by giving it a central place in the writing of these 9 new tracks. The album is recorded the old-fashioned way: without artifice, without makeup. Kevin, Flavien and Zacharie lock themselves in a chalet in the mountains, taking with them a whole portable studio (consoles, microphones, preamps), in order to make timeless sound recordings themselves in a place cut off from the world. The tracks are recorded live, giving the pieces a power and sincerity that is so rare these days. It will only take a few days for Milady to be born. Release: May 3, 2024. Additional work: In addition to devoting himself body and soul to his solo project, Zacharie also accompanies many artists, as a guitarist, but also as a producer, or musical director (Robin, Edward Rogers, Jeff Mailfert, Herjay, Grissun, and many others). Since 2022, Zacharie has also worked hand in hand with Woodbrass and becomes the official demonstrator of the Guitar/Bass & Studio/Mic/Mix department. At the same time, in November 2023, Zacharie is putting together a Red Hot Chilli Peppers Tribute, called Red Hot Cherry Peppers. The group already has around ten festival dates for the 2024 season.

Valentin Koch has found his answers for all of these questions and has transformed them into instrumental pop songs with his guitar. The music of this Stuttgart guitarist invites you to linger, listen, sympathize and just get carried away.
 
Valentin identifies himself as a dreamer, an optimist and guitar enthusiast. Inspired by artists such as Lizzy McAlpine and John Mayer, Valentin has created his own world of pop music and has continued to develop his own sound. Valentin is active in Stuttgart’s pop music scene and has performed with Tiemo Hauer, Gregor Hägele, Ben Jud, Pascal Blenke, Tabea Booz, Toni Mogens and many more. In addition to artistic projects, he performs in various musicals by “Stage” or “Showslot.”

Nuujets is my instrumental project born from the need to give voice to the music that had long existed only in my head. It is where I channel years of experience and personal growth into a distinctive sound — intricate yet emotionally raw.

My debut album, While I Compress My Depression, is currently in the recording process. It condenses four years of composition, reflection, and artistic evolution into a sonic journey that explores melancholy, harmonic tension, and instrumental catharsis.

The influences behind Nuujets are wide-ranging: from the explosive energy of The Fall of Troy to the compositional elegance of Leo Brouwer, the jazz finesse of Joe Pass, and the modern expressiveness of Yvette Young. All of these elements are filtered through a punk spirit, marked by the rawness and attitude of bands like The Misfits, which strongly shape my musical identity.

On social media, Nuujets has been steadily building a growing and highly engaged community. My content combines introspective musical moments with humor, offering an honest and sometimes playful glimpse into the creative process.

I’m Pablo, a guitarist and musicologist based in Madrid. My journey with the guitar spans more than half my life, blending rigorous academic training with real-world musical experience. I hold a master’s degree specializing in musical analysis of contemporary music, focusing particularly on guitar. During my studies, I also began working on a thesis exploring methodologies of musical analysis grounded in algebra, reflecting my deep interest in the structural and theoretical aspects of music.

Over the years, I have played in various bands across different styles, constantly honing my craft and expanding my musical horizons. This background allows me to balance technical skill with emotional expression in all that I create.

Dopo la pubblicazione, nel 2020, di “Precipitare” e “Barche” battezza il nuovo anno con “Sono anni”: un brano diverso, che sa di manifesto personale e di allergia ad ogni forma di retorica. 

A maggio 2021 pubblica “Fulmini Di Guerra” e dà inizio al “Temporali Estivi Tour”, quindici date in tutta Italia tra cui l'esibizione sul palco del Pistoia Blues Festival. A seguito del distico acustico "Poesia Cruda/Poetico" a novembre dello stesso anno, è prevista a marzo '22 la pubblicazione del secondo disco in studio "Attimi di sole" seguito in aprile da un tour promozionale che porterà il cantautore a confrontarsi con i principali live-club nazionali.

Die Sängerin studierte in Rom und sammelte 2017 in Melbourne erste Erfahrungen mit ihrer Band Indigo Milks. 2020 wurde sie solistisch mit dem Lied Come fanno le onde bekannt. 

Dieses war 2021 auch im Soundtrack der zweiten Staffel der Netflix-Serie Drei Meter über dem Himmel zu hören. Mit dem Lied Punto nahm Svegliaginevra an Sanremo Giovani 2020 teil. 

2021 veröffentlichte sie schließlich beim unabhängigen Label La Clinica Dischi das Debütalbum Le tasche bucate di felicità. Anschließend tourte sie durch Italien. Ein Jahr später legte sie das zweite Album Pensieri sparsi sulla tangenziale vor, in dem sie auch mit Zero Assoluto zusammenarbeitete.

Angelo began his music journey on the island of Malta where he was living at the time. After moving to homeland Italy he started writing songs with the band Gonzaga: this act was highly praised after the release of “Tutto è guerra” produced with Japanese engineer Taketo Gohara. 

The debut album was nominated among best of 2015 by Distopic and the group was elected “Best newcomer band” at Friends of Music Festival by drum icon Steve Hewitt (Placebo) together with being appointed “Best ensemble” at the International Music Think Tank Festival.

In 2019 he debuted with his first solo single “Effetto Domino” thus anticipating the album “Antihype Superstar” being featured in both Spotify and Amazon Music exclusive editorial playlists.

He has currently joined forces with the bands of chart-topper sensations Svegliaginevra and Cmqmartina as well as with songwriter Apice.

Through his very own style of play, Angelo has developed a unique sound on the four strings. Along with solo and session career he is music producer in studio environment and has performed on tours with international artists such as: Jack Savoretti, Negramaro, Gabry Ponte, Zen Circus and Lil Nas X among many others.

I’m a musician and strongman competitor with a passion for creating powerful live performances. My journey with music started at a young age, inspired by my mother’s piano playing and my father’s band. Over the years, I’ve blended my love for music and performance with my experience in strength sports, competing at the highest level, including GIANTS LIVE and World’s Strongest Man.

My pedalboard setup is built for versatility, featuring the RC-300 Loop Station, Boss OC-3 Octave Pedal, and TC Electronic Hall of Fame Reverb, among others. The RockBoard CINQUE 5.3 has been a game changer compared to my old setup—it’s streamlined, rock-solid, and incredibly easy to set up and pack down. CdA was founded in 2014 as a cartoon cover band, immediately standing out for their explosive energy and direct connection with the audience. Over the years, they’ve won over thousands of fans with their high-voltage performances, eventually creating Mai Dire Goku—a unique format that, in the past year alone, has exploded across Italy. This success has taken them on tour through the country’s most iconic live clubs, major arenas, and top summer festivals, performing in front of thousands of people at every show.

Alongside their live success, CdA has earned significant recognition, appearing on national television (Rai 1) and collaborating with major figures in Italian entertainment—most notably, Carlo Verdone, who chose the band to arrange a track for his TV series Vita da Carlo 3.

After years of success and a growing fanbase, CdA is now evolving their artistic direction. The band has begun writing and producing original music, staying true to their anime roots while forging a new sonic identity. Their first four original tracks mark just the beginning of this transformation, as they aim to establish themselves as one of the leading names in the Italian rock scene.

Lorenzo Cicerchia, known on stage as Lorenz, is an Italian guitarist, producer, and performer whose
explosive playing and captivating stage presence have earned him a fast-growing reputation in the
national music scene. He began playing guitar and piano at the age of three, and started formal music
education by the age of five, eventually graduating cum laude from the prestigious Saint Louis College of
Music in Rome, with a degree in Rock/Blues Guitar and Composition.
In addition to his academic path, Lorenz studied under world-class guitarists like Guthrie Govan, Paul
Gilbert and Scott Henderson and has developed a versatile skill set as a multi-instrumentalist, arranger,
and music producer. From his studio, he composes original music, produces artists, and creates
soundtracks and scores.
As a music educator, Lorenz teaches in various schools and leads masterclasses across Italy, while also
pursuing an intense career as a live performer with his band CdA— a rock-driven, high-energy group that
reimagines anime and cartoon songs in a powerful, immersive live show format.
Over the past two years, Lorenz and CdA have created one of the most successful Event\Party live in Italy
named “Mai Dire Goku”
, a concert-party experience dedicated to anime and cartoon lovers that has
exploded in popularity. The show tours across Italy and Europe, drawing thousands of fans to major
stages, festivals, and clubs weekly.
The band is currently writing and producing original music inspired by anime culture, which has already
attracted interest from major record labels. Lorenz’s influence also extends online, where his quality

Soilwork is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Helsingborg. They have released twelve studio albums. Formed in late 1995 by Björn Strid and Peter Wichers, the band was originally known as Inferior Breed. In late 1996, they changed their name to Soilwork, which means "working from the ground up".

The Night Flight Orchestra is a Swedish rock band from Helsingborg.[1] Formed in 2007 by Björn Strid and David Andersson while they were touring in the US with their band Soilwork, they were later joined by bassist Sharlee D'Angelo (Arch Enemy, Spiritual Beggars, ex-Mercyful Fate), Richard Larsson (Von Benzo), Jonas Källsbäck (Mean Streak) and, more recently, Sebastian Forslund (Kadwatha). They have released seven studio albums.

Rasmus Ehrnborn is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist, currently playing bass for melodic death metal veterans Soilwork and lead guitar for the retro-rock powerhouse The Night Flight Orchestra. He has worked with legendary musicians including Mikkey Dee (Motörhead, Scorpions), Paul Di’Anno (ex-Iron Maiden), and British glam rock icons Sweet. Known for his precision, versatility, and commanding stage presence, Rasmus is a respected force in both the Scandinavian and international rock and metal scenes.

Rasmus Ehrnborn is a Swedish musician whose journey has led him to stages across the world as bassist for Soilwork and lead guitarist for The Night Flight Orchestra. His path began with a deep curiosity for music — not only how to play it, but how to write it, shape it, and bring it to life.

With Soilwork, Rasmus plays bass and writes music, helping shape the band’s distinctive mix of intensity and melody. His studio work with the group began on the acclaimed EP A Whisp of the Atlantic and continued with the full-length album Övergivenheten, where his low-end rumble helped expand the band’s sound while staying true to its roots. On stage, he brings energy and precision, grounding the band’s performances with both power and groove.

In The Night Flight Orchestra, Rasmus plays lead guitar and writes music, helping define the band’s melodic, cinematic rock sound. He stepped into the role following the passing of David Andersson, and before that occasionally filled in on bass, percussion, and keyboards whenever extra hands were needed. Having appeared as a session musician on previous albums, his first album as the lead guitarist of the band was Give Us the Moon, on which he also wrote songs.

Earlier in his career, Rasmus performed with artists and bands such as Paul Di’Anno and Sweet, experiences that broadened his approach to both live performance and studio work. While he occasionally shares his experience through workshops, most of Rasmus’s time is spent writing, recording, and touring.

His work has also led to partnerships with trusted gear brands, including ESP Guitars and Basses, EBS Bass Amps and Effects, BLACKSTAR Amplifiers, Dunlop/MXR, and now ROCKBOARD, whose tools help him deliver reliable tone night after night.

Rasmus’s story is one of steady growth — from musician to songwriter, from stage performer to creative collaborator. Whether laying down intricate lines with Soilwork or soaring melodies with The Night Flight Orchestra, his focus remains simple: to serve the song and connect with audiences through music.

Rock of Ages is a jukebox musical built around classic rock songs from the 1980s, especially from the famous glam metal bands of that decade. The musical features songs from Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison and Europe, among other well-known rock bands. It was written by Chris D'Arienzo, directed by Kristin Hanggi and choreographed by Kelly Devine with music supervision, arrangements and orchestrations by Ethan Popp.

Zach played in the official Broadway production on the Las Vegas strip and toured as "Guitar #1" on the 10th Anniversary International Tour.

Rock of Ages

Zach “AttAkk” Hennig is an American guitarist from Austin, Texas, best known for his high energy stage performances, tasteful solos, and tight rhythms. Rock gave him his start, but he excels in country, pop, and acoustic work as well. Raised in major recording studios and his family’s guitar store, music has been in his blood since birth.

Zach currently hops between Nashville and Las Vegas touring with multiple artists of all genres. His previous gigs include the Broadway musical "Rock of Ages," (10th Anniversary Tour & Las Vegas) and the Michael Jackson show (MJ Live!). He has worked with numerous bands and artists such as Dee Snider of Twisted Sister, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Bailey Zimmerman, and has appeared in multiple shows on the Las Vegas strip. 

It started in 1997 with Tonmoy Tansen on vocals and his two close friends Rippy on guitar and Babu on keyboards. Rippy stayed until the recording of Jiboner Kolahol and 27 January.

Setu Chowdhury joined the band afterwards. Then one by one, Symon on drums and Roger on bass. After a while, Johnny joined as a bassist as Roger discontinued his journey with the Vikings.

The band was originally named Viking. Then the name of the band was changed to Vikings on the advice of lyricist Kawsar Ahmed Chowdhury.

Vikings won the Star Search competition in 1999 and came into the limelight. Later, in the year 2000, their first album Jiboner Kolahol was released. In 2001, Vikings became the brand ambassador of Pepsi. Released in 2001, on the occasion of Valentine's Day, their famous song Bhalobasi Jare features Kaniz Suborna is a massive hit. In 2002, their 2nd album was released Din Joto Dukkho Toto.

2003, the band took a break and returned with the album Run Out for a movie. As keyboardist Babu was stationed abroad, Rimon replaced him. Asad joined as a guitarist. After Johny played for a while, due to his personal busyness, Shopan replaced him.

Recently, Vikings released five songs: Neel Hobo, Jodi, Firey Ashuk Jibon, Bhoy, Hoyto and Jighangsha.

Thus continues the Vikings' journey.

Vikings

With a dynamic career spanning over 16 years in the music industry, Faruque Hossain Shuvo stands as a prolific figure in Bangladesh's music scene. Renowned for his versatility, he has collaborated with esteemed names such as Vikings, Warfaze, Mechanix, and Dour, showcasing his prowess as a guitarist, composer, and music producer.

In 2008, Faruque's bands Beduin, Dour & Prohor attained membership in the prestigious BAMBA (Bangladesh Band Music Association), laying the foundation for his illustrious journey. His collaboration with Rock n Replica (RnR) in 2011 led to the release of a single featured in the ROCK 606 Album by Iqbal Asif Juwel. Notably, his guest appearances with Warfaze and Mechanix further solidified his reputation as a versatile musician.

Faruque's tribute guitar solo to Warfaze in 2014 garnered widespread acclaim. Joining the band Vikings in 2020, he has contributed to the release of six captivating songs and embarked on tours across various cities.

In recent years, Faruque has dedicated himself to crafting mesmerizing instrumental pieces, with notable releases including Liquid Smoke of Destruction, Jelly, Gravity, Union In May, Time O'clock, Mesa, Faze and Aroma. His collaborations with international artists from Taiwan, France, and beyond attest to his global appeal and musical prowess.

Faruque is currently immersed in the creation of his instrumental album, alongside his ongoing contributions to Vikings' evolving discography. Additionally, he has spearheaded groundbreaking initiatives like the Greatest Guitar Collaboration Bangladesh, showcasing the collaborative spirit of Bangladesh's music community.

Summerlane

Alex is best known for his mastery of both heavy metal and jazz guitar (also fluent in a multitude of styles, from blues to funk to flamenco-inspired acoustic).  

While a sixteen year old student of Joe Satriani, Alex, the son of Ivy League academics, joined Bay Area thrash metal outfit Testament. He uplifted the band with a sense of harmony and technique unheard of in the genre at the time. At eighteen, he recorded the first of five albums with the band’s original lineup, touring almost non-stop until his early 90s departure from the group.  By that time, he'd begun working with virtuoso bassists Stuart Hamm and Michael Manring. 

During the next decade, he left his touring life and guitar hero status behind in order to become a full-time University student. Inspired by the likes of John Scofield, Pat Martino, George Benson and others, he moved to New York to earn a BfA in Jazz from The New School. There he studied with such prestigious artists as Vic Juris, Cecil McBee and Reggie Workman, as well as taking classes in philosophy and creative writing. 

In the early 00’s, Alex released the first of several critically acclaimed albums with his eponymous trio, which had begun as a New School student ensemble. AST would go on to perform worldwide, receive extensive radio play and be described as such in Downbeat by journalist Bill Milkowski: “Skolnick runs the guitaristic gamut from lush chord melodies to Wes Montgomery-style octaves to screaming Sonny Sharrock-esque skronking” (Jan 2017).

In the mid-2000’s, Alex reunited with Testament, the impact of which eclipsed the band’s initial run, bringing them closer in status to tourmates such as Slayer, Megadeth and Lamb of God, the latter of whom has featured Alex as guest soloist. 

The 2020s has found Alex in an exciting new musical collective, PAKT, featuring fretless bass legend Percy Jones, best known for the pioneering fusion group Brand X (with Phil Collins) and work with Brian Eno, along with acclaimed experimental guitarist Tim Motzer and Drummer Kenny Grohowski (Brand X, John Zorn). 

In addition, bass master Stuart Hamm – who’d hired Alex back in the 90s for the guitarist’s first instrumental music tour (and opening doors to music beyond metal) – released Hold Fast, Stu’s long awaited LP with Alex on guitar. 

He is also a featured guitarist on recordings by Jane Getter Premonition, a project co-produced by and featuring his former New School instructor Adam Holzman (longtime Miles Davis keyboardist and Steven Wilson collaborator) along with a rotating cast of top players including drummer Gene Lake and bassist Mark Egan (of Pat Metheny Group). 

Before it’s untimely closing in 2022, Greenwich Village’s most prestigious jazz rock venue, 55 Bar, booked Alex in various ensembles and included him in a formal group photograph of New York’s improvisational luminaries. 

 In 2020, Alex launched Moods & Modes, a radio short-story podcast in which he is the host, producer and composer. With a unique take on musical thought, education, analysis, jam sessions and interviews, Moods & Modes has been a fixture on the Apple Podcast charts, ranking high in the category of “Musical Commentary.” Alex’s Moods & Modes guests have included Pat Metheny, Antonio Sanchez, bassist/rapper Divinity Roxx, Snarky Puppy’s Michael League as well as Frampton, Vai, Johnson and Satriani and Al Di Meola.

 In addition, Alex  is a respected writer. His 2021 extended essay for the academic current affairs journal Newlines, “Shut Up and Play Your Guitar,” became the second most shared article in the magazine’s history. His widely read Substack newsletter includes longform essays exploring the work of Thomas Pynchon, as well as Jeff Beck. 

His social media posts are often picked up and debated on mainstream music and culture websites, from Yahoo to Pitchfork to NME. 

Over the years, he has contributed numerous articles to other nationally distributed publications from Guitar Player, Guitar World, The Talkhouse, Unbuilt and others. He has also given keynote addresses at academic events such as Dayton University’s Metal and Cultural Impact conference as well as joining various PhDs at the International Society for Metal Studies in Helsinki. 

Alex has his own line of ESP signature guitars and a signature pickup made by Seymour Duncan. Additional product endorsements include D’Addario, Taylor Guitars, Godin Guitars, IK Multimedia, Orange Amps, Sadowsky Guitars, Gator cases and more. Whether he’s appearing at sophisticated jazz venues such as Yoshi’s in Northern California or The Blue Note in Milan, Italy or shredding at full volume at heavy music festivals such as France’s Hellfest or Germany’s Wacken Open Air, it’s safe to say that Skolnick has found his own niche as a guitarist.

He recently completed a sold-out two-month headline tour across the U.S. with Myles Smith and is set to embark on Myles' global tour in 2025, spanning the UK, Europe, America, Australia, and New Zealand. The upcoming year will also see Joe joining Myles in supporting Ed Sheeran on a four-month European stadium tour throughout the summer.

My name is Taj Farrant and I am an Australian Guitarist now living in America. I love playing Blues/Rock and a few of my Guitar Hero's are, Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson and Steve Vai. One of my biggest accomplishments to date is having 2 original singles taking out the  #1 spot  on the International Blues Singles Charts within a month of each other during 2023. Going to an AC/DC concert with my Dad and Pops at the age of 6 is what made me want to play guitar and I knew then it is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Barbie Almalbis recently celebrated her 25th year in the music scene with a concert chronicling her career as one of the most influential figures in Pinoy alternative rock. I’ve been playing guitar since I was a kid, and over the years it’s become a big part of how I process things and stay creative. In MILKYWAY, we lean heavily on our instruments to carry emotion and energy, so having a setup I can trust is really important.

Makoy Portado is a session guitarist and dedicated church musician from Cagayan de Oro, whose passion for music has carried him from humble beginnings to some of the nation’s biggest stages.

His journey began at the age of 12, when he first served in his local church’s music ministry. What started as a simple offering of talent soon became a calling, as he quickly gained the admiration of fellow musicians and friends for his sincerity and skill.

In his early years in Manila, Makoy became part of TJ Monterde’s acoustic duo, sharing their music at events and writing heartfelt compositions together. In 2013, his path crossed with KZ Tandingan, sparking a musical partnership that would mark a turning point in his career. Since then, Makoy has become a sought-after session guitarist, lending his artistry to performances with some of the country’s most celebrated artists, including Sarah Geronimo, Ylona Garcia, Kyla, and Jaya.

Despite his success on stage, Makoy’s heart remains anchored in worship. He is currently part of Influence Worship, a Dumaguete-based worship collective devoted to leading people closer to God through music and worship concerts across the south.

Makoy’s story is one of faith, passion, and dedication — a journey that reflects not only his love for music, but also his desire to use it as a vessel for inspiration and hope.

The Songs Of Society is a Tamil Rock initiative created by the Dad-Daughter Duo Arun Chitturi and his daughter Deshna Chitturi in 2022. Arun serves as the vocalist and lead guitarist for the band, while Deshna plays the bass guitar and provides vocals as well. Their primary goal is to convey motivational messages through impactful rock music and to promote Tamil Rock and metal genres.

Deshna Chitturi is a 15-year-old bassist hailing from Coimbatore, India. She found her love for music at the age of eleven, starting out with the acoustic guitar before realizing her passion for the bass. At present, she serves as both the bassist and female vocalist for the band "The Songs of Society," which is led by her father, Arun Chitturi, who plays guitar. She works as a session bassist and has recorded bass tracks across various genres, such as Metal, Gospel, Indie, and Folk. In the summer of 2023, bassist Steven Wussow (ORDEN OGAN, ex-XANDRIA) surprises his bandmate Axel Ritt (ex-GRAVE DIGGER), whom he knows from their work together in DOMAIN, with an unexpected WhatsApp message. As an admirer of great melodies, great songs and great productions of the 80s, he would like to create a band that has written the popular trademarks of the same era on the songwriting flags, but with a correspondingly more modern sound.

The idea fell on fertile ground with the songwriter, guitarist and producer, who quickly agreed on the classic rock line-up of V, G, B and Dr and found the perfect backbone in terms of beats, show and punch in Tim Breideband (Gregorian, ex-Freedom Call, ex-Bonfire).

When it comes to vocals, Facebook has found one of the country's best rockers in the form of singer Jessica Conte, a young entertainer with Sicilian roots, who "blows the boys away" with her voice. Despite her youth, Jessica has been musically influenced by the 70s / 80s decades, which makes her the ideal front woman for the band.

The result is the band JÄST, whose name is made up of the first letters of the first names in the best ABBA tradition.

The band's vision is "Bring Rock Back To Radio!", accompanied

For the last decade, Pablo has been the main guitarist in Sophie Ellis-Bextor's band, recording on her last albums and touring the world better known stages and festivals. 
In 2020, Pablo released his own album under the name of A | PART, a collection of reimagined covers recorded remotely with more than thirty musicians in pandemic times.

Samuel David Mengual Hernandez, is an Venezuelan artist, musician, music producer and guitar tone developer, born on June 27, 2000.

Samuel was started playing at 18 and since then I've been training as a guitarist, and in 2022 I started recording for different emerging and international artists, and then in 2024 I started producing music.

Over time, he has had the honor of working with Christian artists such as Alex Márquez, Denicher Pol, Kabed, Jennifer Salinas, Madely Márquez, and others. Peruvian musician and producer, recognized as one of the most influential bassists in the country’s music scene. He began his training at the age of 10 and has shared the stage and recordings with artists such as Noel Schajris, Luis Fonsi, Pandora, Mijares, Diego Torres, Dominic Miller, Gianmarco, Alejandro Fernández, Juan Luis Guerra, Fonseca, Dyango, Russell Ferrante, among others.

He participated in iconic projects such as the album En Vivo desde el Lunario by Gianmarco, nominated for a Latin Grammy, and recorded the electric bass on Tusuy Kusun by Damaris, the song that won the Viña del Mar Festival in 2008.

In 2010, he produced One Day Project, an album of Christian music from his personal perspective. As a solo artist, he released the albums Seguir (2012) and Roundtrip (2015), blending Peruvian music with contemporary genres. In 2025, he will release his new production, The Meeting.

Shunsuke Saga is a Japanese bassist, youtuber and entrepreneur living between Yokohama, Japan and Seoul, South Korea.
After graduating from high school, he followed an apprenticeship as a luthier under the guidance of Hiro Yamada (stillblu guitars).

Afterwards, he started sharing his passion for tone, beautiful instruments, and innovation by creating fun informational content on social media. 
At the same time, he started purchasing secondhand instruments, repairing, and upgrading them. 
This is how Geek-In-Box was born and became one of the most important platforms & shops in Japan.

Helen Zamudio is a session and touring bass player from Lima, Perú. She studied music performance at PUCP university (Perú) and has a master in Music Business at UNIR (Spain).
Helen has become one of the most in demand and versatile bassists in her country, working with several peruvian and international bands such as: Saraí Rivera (USA), Un Corazón (USA), MDO (Puerto Rico), Surfistas del Sistema (Argentina), Pim Pau (Brasil), Alejandro y Maria Laura (Spain), Sebastián Llosa (México) and more.
She is musical director for Lowsan Melgar (USA) working in tours in Perú and USA. She directs her own project, Helen Zamudio trío, playing her own contemporary jazz compositions, looking forward to recording her first album.
Beyond his role as a bassist, she is now a respected educator, founder and director of Bass Camp, an educational program for bassists with students all across the world with more than 10 editions since 2021.

Simbiat Ebhohon is a bass player and beatmaker based in Barcelona, Spain. She’s been involved in different musical scenes in Spain and works for various artists, playing genres ranging from R&B, soul, or hip hop to reggae or Afrobeat. Her versatility makes her a different kind of bass player.
